Analytics

AnimeExplore uses Cloudflare Web Analytics and Google Analytics to understand which pages are useful. Cloudflare Web Analytics is cookieless. Google Analytics may use cookies or similar technologies and sends measurement data to Google. We do not use analytics to create accounts or sell personal information.

Your progress

Checkboxes and generator rolls are saved in your browser's localStorage and can be cleared by clearing site data. If you sign in, anime-list entries and episode progress are also sent to our account database so they can appear on your other devices. Your existing local progress is merged into the account after first sign-in. Share links encode your progress in the URL itself. Anyone with the link can see that episode list, so share deliberately.

Accounts

Account authentication and private list storage are provided by Supabase. We store your account identifier, email address, optional display name, anime-list status, watched episode numbers, ratings, favorites, notes, and record timestamps. Row-level access rules limit each signed-in user to their own profile and list. Profile includes tools to export this data or delete the account and synced records.

What we don't do

• An account is optional. Email is collected when you choose email sign-in or contact us.
• Submission names and email addresses are used only to review and reply to that note.
• No advertising is currently displayed on the site.
• You can manage analytics cookies through your browser settings.

Third parties

Cover images are hotlinked from the source image host, and outbound links point to streaming services and catalogue sources. Their privacy policies apply when you visit them.
