AnimeExplore answers one question fast: what do I actually need to watch? No wiki-diving, no spreadsheets, no "just trust me". Every episode is classified, every watch order explained, every tool shareable.
Why we exist
Every long-running anime buries its best moments under padding. Filler lists exist, but they stop at the list. We pair the list with the things you actually do next: a watch-time calculator, progress you can check off and share, franchise watch orders for the confusing universes, and generators for the fun parts of fandom.
Data sources
- Episode data: the source catalogue via the public Jikan API, snapshotted daily and committed to the repo so the site builds even when the API is down.
- Curated corrections: human-reviewed flag fixes, streaming notes, and FAQs per show. These always win over API data.
- Images: hotlinked from the source image host.
Why we're not another filler-list clone
We don't republish the same table everyone else has. AnimeExplore adds the workflow around it: skip-plan math, shareable progress links, curated watch orders, and correction pipeline anyone can contribute to. Facts and metadata only. No copied wiki prose or hosted video.
